My Wedding Inspiration

After celebrating our one year anniversary last week, I thought I'd share some of the inspiration that we used to create our wedding style. I wanted our look to be timeless and classic so a neutral colour palette of cream and black combined with the textures of natural greens, mixed metals, and rustic wood made up our look. I still love this palette and would do it all over again if I got the chance (who wouldn't!).

I highly recommend any brides who are overwhelmed by the planning process to not only gather inspiration photos, but narrow them down to 8-12 key photos. Stick to one or two photos for each category (venue, wedding party attire, stationery, florals, etc). This will really help you focus your style and make those tough decisions a lot easier. Print your mood board out and have it with you whenever wedding shopping is on the agenda. Don't forget to give a copy to vendors like your florist or wedding planner!

Not tech savvy? Send me an email and I can create a custom mood board just for you. I love making these, especially for custom invitation suites! They really help capture the look and feel of what you're aiming for. Check out our Pinterest page for a good place to start.
