I don’t typically participate in wedding shows but this one is something special. Wed Well Showcase is a carefully curated event for modern couples hosted at the Small Arms Inspection Building in Mississauga. All the vendors are hand-selected for their inclusivity, relevance, and quality. I was fortunate enough to be considered and I’m taking the plunge!

I’ve met Krista Olynik, the woman behind the show, a few times in passing and am constantly impressed by her. She not only owns and operates Wed Well Showcase but also her own coaching business for wedding professionals - KJ and Co. Oh, and she’s a mom too!

I was thrilled when she asked me to participate in this promotional shoot for the event, providing a digitally printed stationery suite for flatlays and tablescapes. Like many styled shoots, one vendor takes the lead and gathers professionals from each category: florals, rentals, stationery, photography, etc. While there is an initial moodboard and collective vision for the shoot, it’s always exciting to see it all come together on the day of shooting. And the best part, getting to meet other wedding professionals who are always so personable, talented, and relatable.
